We all have comfort zones in which we work. But to grow, we need to step outside of them. Today we are presenting a new challenge. This year's challenge will be determined by you. We have eight different comfort-zone categories which you might want to explore. You may accept the challenge in just one, or all eight, or any number in between. You will decide what your particular growth challenge will be in each of the areas you choose, then decide on a project in which to expand that comfort zone, and take up the challenge. You will sign up for your particular challenges at the August 2008 meeting. The products will be displayed at the August 2009 meeting. Prizes will be offered in all eight areas; you will be eligible in each of the areas in which you choose to challenge yourself. The challenge areas are as follows:
Think about what you would like to do for this challenge. Sign up forms will be at the August meeting. On it you will be expected to state what areas you want to work in and in general how you are challenging yourself in that area.
